Abstract This Resolution consisting of 2 articles amends article 8 of the previous Resolution and establishes that it is prohibited to construct any fixed buildings on the bridges of the Nile, the islands within its course, and the flats from which the water temporarily or permanently recedes, within the limits of the rectification lines determined by the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. Exceptions are made to the installations of drinking water and electricity stations and works of public interest after approval by the Higher Committee for Nile Licensing and approval by the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation.
