These regulations enter into force on 1 April 2014.
Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of 21 sections divided into three Parts and completed by two Schedules, implement the Primary Produce Safety Act 2011 by establishing Seafood Food Safety Scheme (Part 2). These regulations establish: Standards applying under seafood food safety scheme; Requirements to be accredited and for accreditation; Requirements to prepare and implement a food safety programme; Requirements for accredited seafood producers, etc. Part 3 deals with offences and penalties.
