These Regulations enter into force on 1 July 2010.
Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of 12 sections divided into two Parts and completed by one Schedule, establish a food safety scheme for carrying on the business of seed sprouts production. The Regulations provide for requirements for accreditation by the Minister. Accredited producers must: ensure that their activities are carried on in compliance with standards of the Food Standard Code; have a food safety arrangement approved; allow an approved auditor to perform periodic audits; pay annual fees; etc.
