Abstract

These Regulations, of 14 Sections, make provisions and establish procedures for the reduction of Salt usage in Water refreshing processes in Israel. Section (1) gives definitions. Section (2) establishes that a producer shall refresh the Ion changer device in a way that will reduce the amount of salt that the device consumes. Section (3) provides with measuring duties. Section (4) deals with monitoring procedures related to the production of soft water. Section (5) establishes maximum weight proportions. Secs. (6) and (7) regard devices operational requirements. Section (8) regards water hardness calculation procedures. Secs. (9) and (10) provide with data and information reporting and registering. Secs. (11) to (14) give general information.
