Abstract

An Act to amend the principal Act so as to extend the definition of "Group III Substance" and to amend the provisions relating to withdrawal times. Group III Substance now means: "(a) any product referred to in subparagraphs (i) and (ii) of paragraph (a) of section 2(1) to which a withdrawal time has been assigned during registration under the laws referred to in those subparagraphs, but excluding any such product which is prohibited or a Group I or Group II Substance; (b) any other product declared as a Group III Substance under that section [2]". Section 2 of the principal Act is amended by redefining the powers of the Minister with respect to prescribing withdrawal times. (3 sections)
