For purposes of section 1 of the Act, “marine pollutants” are prescribed in Schedule 2 to these Regulations. For purposes of section 9 of the Act, the form of the oil record book for tankers and for ships other than tankers is prescribed in the First Schedule. Other forms prescribed are: Certificate of insurance or other financial security in respect of civil liability for oil pollution damage and Certificate of insurance in respect of civil liability for oil pollution damage (sect. 28 of the Act), Tanker Construction Certificate and a Tanker Exemption Certificate (sect. 10 of the Act).
