Abstract

These Regulations govern disposal of garbage in order to prevent marine pollution. The provisions shall apply to Singapore ships and to other ships while they are in Singapore waters. The disposal of all plastics from a ship outside any Special Area is prohibited (reg. 4). Regulation 5 concerns the disposal of garbage within special areas.
