Abstract

The Ordinance provides for the damage to or removal of any navigation aid as per Section 2(a) (marks, buoys, lights, etc.). The Authority appointed to deal with possible offences is the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority and offenders shall be punished with a jail term up to three years or a fine or both.
