Abstract

This Ordinance makes provisions for the prevention of entry into the country and spread of the Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy disease. From the date of entry into force of the present Ordinance it is prohibited: the collection and processing of animal waste in order to produce feedstuff for livestock, b) the use of processed animal proteins for livestock feeding, c) the possession, putting on the market and the production of feedstuffs containing processed animal proteins. The prohibitions shall not apply for fishmeal used to feed non-ruminant animals b) for non-ruminant gelatin coating additives c) milk and milk products to feed livestock.
