Abstract This Order replaces article 11 of Royal Order of 23/03/1953: it is totally prohibited the use of round nets (so called "gri-gri") during day and night-time for three months, more specifically on January, February and December of each year. For the rest of the year, the Order prescribes specific distance from the coastline. The Order also provides for the use of night-time "gri-gri" nets. Also by this Order, article 5 of Presidential Order No. 189/1978 is amended: paragraph 3 is added, prescribing no anchovies fishing within the Thermaikos gulf for three months, in particular on June, July and August of each year.
