This Order enters into force on its date of publication in the Official Gazzette.
Abstract

This Order lays down the animal health conditions applicable to intra-Community trade in and imports from third countries of deep-frozen semen of domestic animals of the bovine species in compliance with Council Directive 88/407/EEC as amended by Council Directive 2003/43/EC.The semen described above must be collected, processed and stored under conditions which comply with the standards laid down in this Order. Also, for the purposes of this Order, the definitions contained in Article 2 and 20 of Presidential Order No. 308/2000 shall apply as necessary. Schedule D1 and D2 of the D Annex contains sample application forms for animal health certificates.
