Abstract This Presidential Order, consisting of 9 articles, creates the National Committee on Climate Change and Biodiversity. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned institution, entitled: to harmonize programmes and policies for the implementation of the National Strategy on Climate Change and Biodiversity preservation; to create the necessary conditions for the implementation of the National Plan against climate changes; to create a National Plan for investments integrating issues related to climate change, to create centres of excellence in order to carry out research on natural disasters and systematic observation and investigation on climate.
