Abstract The President, considering that wild growing liquorice, poisonous snakes and derivates thereof pertain to national patrimony and for the purpose of conservation thereof, decrees to prohibit to all enterprises and organizations irrespectively of the form of ownership and to natural persons, except for Turkmen state scientific production association “Turkmenderman”, procurement and export of wild growing liquorice, and also capture and captive breeding of poisonous snakes, procurement and trade of snake venom. The Government shall carry out inventory of areas under wild growing liquorice with a view of setting up specialized farms for cultivation of wild growing liquorice.
