Abstract This Presidential Decree creates the Directorate for Combating Corruption Crimes. It establishes composition and duties of the above mentioned Directorate as the central executive service of the Criminal Investigation Service, which is responsible for the design and execution of strategic and operational procedures for the prevention and repression of crimes of corruption. In addition, it amends Presidential Decree No. 179/17 of 9 de Agosto, which approved the Organic Regulation of the Criminal Investigation Service, in the part concerning the structure and adding to it Article 38A on the Directorate for combating Corruption Crimes.
