Abstract This Presidential Decree declares the State of Emergency for reasons of the COVID-19 pandemic, covering the entire Republic of Guinea-Bissau. The state of emergency lasts 15 days, starting on 28 March 2020 and ending on 25 July 2020, as amended by Presidential Decree No. 24/2020 renewing the state of emergency. The renewals are based on the need to join efforts in combating the pandemic of COVID-19, globally recognized as a situation of public disaster, providing for fundamental rights, whose exercise remains temporarily suspended, administrative implementation, quarantine and proportionality of the implementation of measures.
