Abstract This Presidential Decree regulates trade of standing timber and timber products on internal market for the period of 2011-2012. This Presidential Decree establishes that timber can be traded either through auction sale by the “Belarusian universal exchange” or through off board trade at stumpage value. Trade of felled timber shall be carried out either through exchange auction or in accordance with purchase and sale contracts. The Ministry of Forest Management shall coordinate trade of timber and timber products on internal market. Legal persons carrying out forest management can act either as buyers or as sellers of standing timber originating from timber cutting fund and put on sale through the “Belarusian universal exchange”.
