Abstract This Executive Decree establishes the suspension of exports of unmanufactured wood, in any form for a period of 3 years. It applies to all wood that has not undergone any manufacturing, processing or industrial transformation process. This suspension aims to stimulate the national growth and expansion of a strong, modern and competitive forest-based industry, making available and more accessible the products manufactured in the national market and for export of non-manufactured wood products, allowing its deployment at the final destination.
