Abstract This Presidential Decree approves the protecting measures for the management of marine fishing, continental fishing and aquaculture in 2013. These protecting measures, consisting of 27 articles, aim at the control over the capacity of catch and the available potentiality of the aquatic marine animal resources and aquaculture, defining the prohibited periods and regulating, in particular, allowed mesh, by-catch, biological bites and the obligation of reporting on statistic information, quotas and reserved areas, prohibition and sanctions according to Law on Aquatic Biological Resources No. 6-A/04.
