This Presidential Decree enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

The President, in relation with the reduction of number of poisonous snakes and poisonous arthropods and for the purpose of regulation of capture thereof and trade of derivates thereof, decrees to entitle Turkmen state scientific production association “Turkmenderman” with the task of capture, keeping and trade of the aforesaid species, and also internal and international trade poisons obtained therefrom. Capture and captive breeding of poisonous snakes and poisonous arthropods without authorization issued by the authorized state environmental institution shall be prohibited. Offenders shall be liable to administrative and penal proceedings and poisonous snakes and poisonous arthropods captured and kept in violation of the present Presidential Decree shall be subject to confiscation.
