Abstract

The Decree regulates the enforcement of measures against animal diseases (the text of the Annex is not available). They include the diagnostic survey by an authorized veterinarian and in case the disease is detected, the inventory of all the animals exposed to the risk of contamination, the implementation of quarantine measures, the authorization to the transport of animals, meat, carcasses and waste of animal origin in order to avoid the spreading of the disease and the disinfection of the establishments. Further provisions concern the establishment by the Ministry of Health of a protection area around the establishment with a minimum radius of 3 Km within an area under surveillance with a minimum radius of 10 Km.
