Abstract This Presidential Decree, consisting of 27 articles, approves management marine fishing measures for continental fishing and aquaculture in 2012. These protecting measures aim at the control over the capacity of catch and the available potentiality of the aquatic marine animal resources and aquaculture, defining the prohibited periods and regulating, in particular, allowed mesh, by-catch, biological bites and the obligation of reporting on statistic information, quotas and reserved areas, prohibition and sanctions according to Law on Aquatic Biological Resources No. 6-A/04.
