Abstract This Presidential Decree approves the Regulation of the Basic Law of the General Regime of the National Planning System under the Law No. 1/11 of 14 January 2011. The Regulation, consisting of 55 articles divided into four Chapters, regulates the procedures for the elaboration, execution, monitoring, evaluation and revision of the instruments of the National Planning System. In particular, it specifies the following: Long and Medium Term Planning Instruments; the Long-Term Plan Strategy, the National Development Plan, the Sectoral Development Plans, the Provincial Development Plans and the National Territorial Planning and the Short-Term Planning Instruments: Annual Plans, and the Planning Information System: the Computerized System, the data collection and system documents, further regulating the accountability.
