Abstract This Presidential Decree establishes that with a view of protection of human life, health and natural environment the Council of Ministers of Belarus, in case of absence of technical regulations and requirements adopted by Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), shall be entitled to apply mandatory compliance assessments for commodities recorded in the List of commodities of EAEU subject to mandatory compliance assessment. It shall be applicable to the following categories of commodities: (a) agricultural equipment; (b) packaging materials; (c) fertilizers and plant protection agents; (d) foodstuffs and liquors; (e) animal feedstuffs; (f) cereals; and (g) oil and natural gas.
