This Presidential Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Presidential Decree approves the Statute of the Ministry of Oil. The Statute, consisting of 4 Chapters and 2 Annexes, specifies composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned institution, entitled as follows: to design and propose the National policy basis on oil and bio fuel; to elaborate the development programme on oil and bio fuel exploitation, according to the National Plan; to carry out researches on oil potentialities in Angola; to study and propose a legislation regulating the activities in this sector; to control the implementation of such activities; to carry out research on hydrocarbons, production, processing and trade of crude oil and natural gas, storage, transport and supply of derivatives, including bio fuel. Annexes list composition and duties of this Ministry.
