Abstract This Presidential Decree, consisting of 37 articles divided into five Chapters, establishes the legal regime for binding and contributing to the Mandatory Social Protection. It applies to employers, similar entities and workers covered by the Mandatory Social Protection, in addition to other special integrating systems, which regulate the legal relationship of binding, the contributory legal relationship and the misdemeanor regime. The regime covers the following groups of workers: those who exercise paid professional activity under an employment contract, under the terms of the labour legislation; civil servants, administrative agents and workers hired in the civil service; natural persons who hold agricultural, commercial, industrial or service provision companies, partners, managers or members of corporate bodies and hired directors of legal persons, with or without profit-making purposes, who are remunerated; workers hired by a temporary work company, which provides services to meet the transitory need to replace regular and permanent staff or the extraordinary addition of service to companies; etc. Full text Portuguese Website www.legis-palop.org
