The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The Decree defines sanitary and control measures to be applied so as to prevent the infection and spread of avian salmonellosis, especially in eggs and poultry hatchery holdings. The Decree establishes the requirements for obtaining a license to operate eggs and poultry hatchery holdings (article 3), requirements and restrictions on the physical location of the hatcheries (article 4), rules regarding veterinary inspections on various types of hatcheries (articles 5 to 9). In also provides for chicken transport (article 10) and the use of vaccination against avian salmonellosis (article 11).
