This Presidential Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Presidential Decree approves the Statute of the Ministry of Public Works and Land Use Planning (MINIPOT). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Ministry, entitled to perform the following activities: Propose the formulation of policies, programmes and projects, for the development and achievement of the Sector's goals; Carry out researches and implementation of projects; Promote, in coordination with other organizations, the rehabilitation, expansion, modernization and creation of conditions for the maintenance and integrated operation of public infrastructures; Promote, in collaboration with the public and private sector, the implementation and supervision of social infrastructures; Perform technical control of the physical realization of projects with the Ministerial Departments and promoters of public works; Prepare the legal and regulatory framework in the fields of its activity; Proceed with the legal regularization of the State's real estate assets in coordination with other bodies; Ensure the effective application of laws and other legal instruments; Guide and provide technical support to the activities of State Administration Bodies and Local Authorities in related matters; Collaborate with other organizations in actions related to the implementation of projects, ensuring compliance with technical, legal, normative provisions and the respective quality and safety, etc.
