Abstract This Presidential Decree approves the Regulation on production, import, export, marketing and transport of substances damaging the ozone layer. This Regulation, consisting of 10 articles and 6 Annexes, establishes the environmental requirements to be satisfied in order to regulate the above mentioned activities and prohibits certain activities in order to protect the atmosphere and in particular the ozone layer. Licensing, inspections and controls to be carried by the competent authorities are appended to the text. Annexes specify the list of substances potentially damaging the ozone layer.
