Abstract

This Resolution is composed of 6 articles. The zone of the White Desert located in the province of Alwadi Aljadeed shall be considered a protected area as defined in the attached map (art. 1). The Environmental Affairs Apparatus shall be responsible for this protected area (art. 2). Any activities or behaviours which may destroy or damage the ecosystem or wildlife shall be prohibited, including: hunting; fishing; killing or disturbing wildlife; transporting plants; introducing new species; polluting soil and water;, discharging waste; and, building structures and roads (art. 3). The Prefect of Matrooh shall carry out the rules of this Resolution (art. 4).
