Abstract

The present Plan (PRAP) is used to influence the country’s priorities for poverty reduction within Basic Needs Trust Fund (BNTF) resources. The Plan shall help the Government of Belize to determine and commit to action plans that are well targeted. The Plan is intended to guide the targeting of resources in order to meet the needs, priorities, and situation of the poorest and most vulnerable in the country. It sets a road map to improve the distribution of resources to effectively contribute to the achievement of national development goals and outlines how it will be accomplished.
