Abstract

This Act regulates and controls the poultry industry, establishes the Poultry Meat Industry Committee and defines its functions. Functions of the Committee include set guidelines for the drawing up of agreements between processors and growers, to determine base rates for batch poultry and to settle by negotiation disputes between processors and growers. The Act also provides for inspections and for enforcement of its provisions.
