Abstract

These Regulations, made under section 35 of the National Agricultural Marketing and Development Corporation Act, 1991, provide rules for the poultry industry and establishes the Poultry Industry Control Committee for purposes of these Regulations. The Committee shall carry out the policy of the Central Marketing Agency in respect of the poultry industry. Poultry and eggs producers shall register with and be licensed by the Agency. Producers shall also keep records and provide returns in accordance with these Regulations. The Regulations also provide for licensing of importers and provide with respect to importation and production quotas.
