The functions of the Ports Authority include the prevention and control of (marine) pollution. The Authority shall also be responsible for the enforcement of this Ordinance and of all laws of the United Kingdom relating to shipping that have application in the Islands. The Minister may make regulations providing for the use and control of Government ports.
