Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to ports whose names have been published in the Staatsanzeiger of Rheinland-Pfalz. In particular, Part 2 contains regulations for ports dealing with hazardous or water- polluting substances. This Part deals, inter alia, with facilities for such substances, landing places for ships carrying such substances, inspection, alarm devices and protection of the water in the port. The text consists of 45 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Common regulations for all ports (2); Completing provisions for ports where hazardous or water-polluting substances are transported or transshipped (3); Penalties and final provisions (4).
