Abstract

This Chapter of the Idaho Statutes concerns port districts and their powers. Specifically, it provides for powers such as acquisition of property and facilities, and operation; acquisition of property, eminent domain, and levy of assessments; ownership and operation of property in general; navigation, and waterway improvement; rates and charges; foreign trade zones; industrial development and improvements; joint exercise of powers, joint acquisition of property and contracts with other governmental entities; cooperation with United States, federal aid, sale of bonds and powers conferred; federal aid and preliminary studies; and United States surplus property and acquisition.
