This Chapter of the Idaho Statutes concerns port districts and election of port commissioners. It provides for commissioners and commissioner districts; commissioners’ qualifications; commissioners’ first election; commissioners’ commencement of term; commissioners for annexed area and original county; commissioners for annexed area of adjacent county; subsequent commissioners and term of office; commissioners and elections after formation; formation or annexation between general elections, and election of subsequent commissioners; election procedure and supplies; elections and voter qualifications; elections and nominating petitions; primary elections; general elections, submission of propositions or proposals; additional elections; additional elections, polling places; additional elections, registration books; elections, canvass of vote; and election expenses.
