Abstract

This Policy issued by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, sets out objectives, criteria and, considerations that will guide the evaluation and allocation of fishing rights in the Tuna Pole-Line fishery, i.e. fishing activities that use pole, rod and reel and trolling (not the large pelagic fishery which utilises longline gear to catch tuna and swordfish).
