The present Act enters into force on 1 January 2003.
Abstract

This Act concerns the keeping of polar bears in Manitoba. The Act provides for permits, care requirements, enforcement and offences and penalties. The Act specifies that, if there is a conflict between this Act and The Wildlife Act, this Act prevails.
