This Act enters into force on 1 July 1957.
Abstract

This Act, consisting of 21 sections completed by one Schedule, provides rules for the importation, storage, handling and placing on the market of poisons, including general prohibition with respect to the importation and sale of poisons, prohibitions, provisions relating to the sale of poisons and exemptions in respect of medicines, etc. The Schedule specifies the list of poisons.
