Abstract

The purpose of this Act is to provide necessary control on poisonous substances and deleterious substances from the viewpoint of health and hygiene. In particular, article 3 establishes that no person may engage in the manufacture of any such substance for the purpose of selling or giving the same unless the person is registered as a manufacturer of poisonous substances or deleterious substances. Article 4 specifies that the registration of a manufacturing business or import business of such substances is conducted by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare for each manufacturing facility or business office, and the registration of a distribution business of said substances is conducted for each shop by the prefectural governor of the location of each respective shop. The text consists of 82 articles.
