It introduces a series of directives of the European Union on the same subject into Austrian legislation. Article 2 contains the definition of “plastic objects”, and of “plastic” itself. The following articles lay down regulations prohibiting the bringing into circulation objects made of plastic materials not complying with the provisions set out in the annexes.
