Abstract

This Order provides for the ratification by Ireland of the 1991 revision of the International Convention for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV). It also provides that any country that is a member to the Convention shall be a Contracting Party for the purposes of the Plant Varieties (Proprietary Rights) Acts 1980 and 1998.
