Abstract

The Plant Varieties Act concerns the certification and protection of new plant varieties in Bangladesh. The National Biodiversity Authority shall proclaim a new plant variety with precise citation of award or defined commercial privileges granted and shall duly maintain all scientific data, documents and supporting materials of the decision and such proclamation shall be recorded in the Bangladesh Gazette.
