This Order shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Order supplements Schedule VI to the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003. The following is added in the list of plants and plant materials permitted import with additional declarations and special conditions: Plant Species (Musa); Category of plant material (Abaca/ Manila fiber); Country of origin (Philippines); Additional declarations required to be incorporated into Phytosanitary certificate (Free from: Ralstonia solanacearum Race 2 (Moko wilt); Special conditions of import (NIL).
