This Law enters into force three months after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Law consisting of 32 articles indicates the Ministry of Agriculture as the sole authority responsible for setting, implementing and reviewing the Phytosanitary Measures in Lebanon. These measures aim to protect human health, plants and animals from pests and diseases that may be transmitted to or from the harmful organisms that infect plants and plant products or agricultural production inputs.
