Abstract

This Regulation sets definitions and makes provisions for the prevention of Phylloxera in wine-grapes. Section (1) gives definitions: a protected area is defined within the geographical boundaries here prescribed. Sections (2) and (3) have been nullified. Section (4) prohibits the introducing of plants, stocks, branches or grafting of grapes to the protected area unless by permit from the Plants Supervisor and according to its conditions. Section (5) sets conditions for the issuance, the rejection or the abrogation of the abovementioned permit.
