Abstract

This Ordinance gives definitions and sets rules for the elimination of cotton afflictions. The Director of the Plant Protection Department of the Ministry of Agriculture has the power to order the holder of a cotton field to disinfect his field if afflictions have passed a certain limit set by the Director. A cotton field holder that has not been ordered to disinfect his field will do so once every two weeks. An inspector may order the disinfection of a cotton field with a higher frequency from the aforementioned. The spreading of pesticides will be carried out with appropriate machinery and using the pesticide prescribed by the Director or the inspector.
