The Director of the Plant Protection Department of the Ministry of Agriculture has the power to order the holder of a cotton field to disinfect his field if afflictions have passed a certain limit set by the Director. A cotton field holder that has not been ordered to disinfect his field will do so once every two weeks. An inspector may order the disinfection of a cotton field with a higher frequency from the aforementioned. The spreading of pesticides will be carried out with appropriate machinery and using the pesticide prescribed by the Director or the inspector.
