Abstract This Law provides the legal, organizational and economic bases for the protection of plants against pests, diseases and weeds, including plant quarantine and plant protection measures. Plant protection shall be based on the following principles: (a) ensuring the ecologically safe use of plant protection measures; (b) prioritizing the use of biological agents for plant protection; and (c) providing access to information on plant protection.
