Abstract

This Order implements in Northern Ireland Commission Decisions on phytosanitary measures to prevent the introduction into and the spread within the Community of Phytophthora ramorum insofar as they relate to plants including trees and trade in agricultural products insofar as it relates to Camellia, Rhododendron and Viburnum from Switzerland. The Order prohibits the introduction and spread of the plant pest Phytophthora ramorum and introduces controls on import of material of a number of susceptible plant and tree species and genera from the USA.
