Abstract

This Act empowers the Minister to prohibit or restrict by Order, subject to such conditions as may be set out in the Order, the exportation from Trinidad and Tobago of any plant or of any specified kind of plant named in the Order. Any plant the exportation of which is prohibited or restricted by Order made under this Act shall be deemed to be goods the exportation of which is prohibited or restricted within the meaning of the Customs laws, as defined in section 2 of the Customs Act.
